Holiday Challenge: 13 Word Love Stories

Greetings, Writers!

With the holiday season upon us, we know how hard it can be to sit down and write. We spend much of our time together in writing group generating a lot of material…so it can be a powerful exercise to pare down your words.

Check out this article from the New York Times on 13 Word Love Stories, and see if you can create a few of your own love stories (or even just one really, really good one). We would be happy to see your successes or attempts in the comments, or you are welcome to submit anonymously to South County Writers: southcountywriters@gmail.com

13 Word Love Stories

We hope you have a lovely holiday with friends, family or even just moments of recognized gratitude. And remember…take notes! Holiday gatherings are ripe with material for future writing.

We wish you all the best things in life this week.

Shannon and Kristen, South County Writers Group
